Class of 2020... the Stories You Will Tell
We have always recognized the power of a photograph. I often visit the halls of our house, pouring over the years of portraits of the kids, at various stages in life. Every time, I reminisce these distant memories. But these time are strange. It's eerie. Those feelings of nostalgia are now not only attached to portraits from years ago, but WEEKS ago (such as these images). We are all being reminded that every can change, in an instant...
but the human spirit is that of hope.
I believe that is what the Class of 2020's story will be. They were born into a world of chaos and fear in the wake of 9/11, and now, on the heals of spreading their wings to make their mark, are confronted with it again. While my heart goes out to them, I am encouraged to think that, ultimately, it will build a generation who knows how to face adversity, who are resilient, who will be strong... and who will use those traits to change the world for the better, and display unbiased hope for the human race.
Because of this chaos, the class of 2020 WILL. BE. GREAT.
